Handwara Police solved burglary case within 12 hours, accuses arrested and stolen property recovered
On 7 July 2020 at around 9;30 pm Police Station handwara recieved an information to the effect that a burglary has occurred at main chowk handwara in the bread shop .
Based on this information, A Case was registered at P/S handwara and investigation set into motion.
Handwara police under the supervision of SP handwara Dr GV sandeep IPS in its endeavours to ensure a crime free society, directed to constitute a team led SDPO handwara Tariq mehmood and SHO parvaz Ahmad. Taking the advantage of CCTV footage collected and other reliable sources, suspect namely Bilal Ahmad Ahanger R/O handwara and Junaid Ahmad R/0:- khonbal handwara were pinned in within just 10 hours and detained. The suspects during sustained interrogation and questioning confessed their involvement in the commission of the offence. On the disclosure of the accuses LCD, Generator and transformer were recovered.
Locals have hailed the prompt response from the handwara Police.
