 BDC Chairman Langate, Mr Showkat Hassan Pandith conducted an interactive meeting with Sarpanchs  of Panchayati Raj Institution of Block Langare

BDC Chairman Langate, Mr Showkat Hassan Pandith conducted an interactive meeting with Sarpanchs  of Panchayati Raj Institution of Block Langare and discussed development works being executed under  Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act at Langate.

BDC Chairman Langate  Mr Showkat Hassan Pandith,Vice BDC Chairman Langate Mr Gh Ahmad Lone Sarpanchs,  and other  officers were also present on the occasion.

BDC Chairman Langate held a detailed meeting with Sarpanchs and Panches of all the  Panchayats and general public of Block Langate and wide range of issues were discussed in the meeting grievances redressal camp covering matters of drinking water, rural electrification and connectivity, availability of teaching staff in schools; and Doctors and Paramedical Staff in hospitals.


The BDC Chairman also informed the PRI members of Block Langate about different welfare and beneficiary oriented schemes of various departments and the procedures of availing the benefits of the same. He asked the PRI members to further educate the villagers about these schemes and the programme of the Government and also encourage them to actively participate in Gram Sabhas and Gram Panchayat Development Plan.

BDC Chairman Langate , later during his visit, also held a meeting with the teacher of the Educational institutions at Wahipora,Haripora and Unisoo and reviewed the progress of the different flagship schemes like MGNREGA, PMAY, SBM, B2V and the disposal of the complaints.
