November 20: Dr. Dipankar Barpujari, son of Howli, Barpeta, Assam is currently working as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH) in South Korea. His research is entitled "The Fastest Synthesis of High Crystalline, Two-Dimensional and Large Area Conductor Polymers for Optoelectronic Devices". This study on the rapid synthesis of highly crystalline and electrically conductive polymers has drawn special attention to "Conducted Polymer Based Optoelectronics and Soft Routine". Currently, there is research and observation on the ability and accuracy of this scientifically synthesized polymer material to be used as electrodes in the screens of mobile phones, televisions, etc., manufactured by the world-renowned South Korean company Chemchang. This research paper has already been published in several world-renowned international journals such as A, C, H, Nano (American Chemical Choice), Journal of Polymer Physics (Wiley), etc. In addition, he has recently been able to achieve success in another study entitled "Artificial Soft Heptic Device Running on Portable Battery". This research work is also currently under review for patent application and publication of research papers.
Dipankar's birthplace, Hauli, and the entire Barpeta district are rejoicing over his success. Dipankar, who was very talented from an early age, passed the Higher Secondary Examination from Howli Adarsh Vidyapeeth High School in 2000 and secured 10th position in Assam. He passed the Higher Secondary Examination in Science from Cotton College with distinction. After this he passed the first class B.Sc. examination with a major in Chemistry from Acharya Narendradev College, Delhi University and obtained a first class postgraduate degree in Chemistry from Delhi University. He received his Ph.D. from I.T., Guwahati in 2015 and earned a Post Doctoral Fellowship from the Pohang University of Science and Technology, South Korea, and a Ph.D. . His wife Bhavana Barpujari (Ph.D., Scholar) is also extending a helping hand in his research work. He is the eldest son of Shri Nripendra Pujari, a retired Headmaster (National Awardee) of Howli Adarsh Vidyapeeth High School, Barpeta District, Dipankar and Shri Vijaya Devi Chowdhury, a retired teacher.
