The Green Tea Factory at Diplonga, in the northern part of Jamugurihat, was gutted in the early hours of the morning on Saturday. According to the details of the incident, the green tea factory caught fire at around 3 pm. Workers at the factory tried to extinguish the blaze at the time, but all attempts failed. The factory was set on fire by a miscreant in order to increase the ownership of the factory.
In the meantime, Lochan Bora has lodged a complaint with the police station. Police are currently investigating the whole incident, though Lochan Borasaid that millions of rupees worth of goods were lost.
