In addition to special expertise in the field of duty, the President's Medal has also been presented to the police, home guards, CRPF, etc., for their bravery. Dibrugarh Central Jail Superintendent Brajen Das has been awarded the President's Medal for his meritorious and commendable service in the punishment and rehabilitation of criminals. Brajen Das is the only Assamese child to have received the President's honor as a prisoner this time. Only Brazen Das among the state's prison staff has been able to win the President's Medal this time. Brajen Das, the youngest son of the late Girish Chandra Das, a resident of South Hati No. 3, Barpeta, Satranagari, is overjoyed at the local rise.
