2 Indians and 1 Pakistani among 3 killed in ‘drone attack’ in Abu Dhabi

Two Indians and a Pakistani were among three people killed in Abu Dhabi on Monday after three fuel tankers exploded in an industrial area near the international airport.

The explosions are suspected to have been caused due to drone  attacks, said U.A.E  authorities. Six others were also injured in the attack.

Yemen's Iran-aligned Houthi movement has claimed responsibility for the attack. The rebels later announced that they had launched 'military operations' in U.A.E

The U.A.E had largely scaled down its military presence in Yemen in 2019 but continues to hold sway through Yemeni forces it armed and trained.
The Houthis have repeatedly launched cross-border missile and drone attacks on Saudi Arabia and have in the past threatened to attack the U.A.E.
