Yevgeny Prigozhin Russian mercenary Wagner chief killed in a plane crash

The founder of the Russian Wagner military company was on a private jet that crashed on Wednesday, soon after taking off from Moscow with a crew of three, according to Russia’s civil aviation authority.

Russia’s civil aviation agency said that Prigozhin and six top lieutenants were on a business jet that crashed. Rescuers found all 10 bodies, and Russian media cited sources in Prigozhin’s Wagner private military company who confirmed his death.
