Justin Trudeau Canadian Prime Minister accuses India of "credible" link to the assassination  of a Khalistan activist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. On June 18 Hardeep Singh Nijjar was gunned down outside a Sikh cultural center in Surrey, British Columbia by unidentified gunman.

PM Justin Trudeau said in Parliament on Monday that over the past number of weeks, Canadian security agencies have been actively pursuing credible allegations of a potential link between agents of the government of India and the killing of a Canadian citizen

Canada expelled a top Indian diplomat Monday. India also expelled A Senior Canadian diplomat On Tuesday.

India has rejected claims by the Canadian government that it had an involvement in the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
