A massive fire that raced through a weeding hall in northern Iraq killed at least 100 people and injured 150 others on Tuesday. The number of death could rise higher as per report.
Fireworks are set at the weeding hall as the weeding hall did not meet Fire safety criteria. Because of the fireworks the ceiling collapsed on the people in the hall. There were about 1,300 guests when the blaze broke out.
The health ministry said the critically injured are being taken to hospitals.
The bride and groom have survived, but they have suffered burns.
The government of Iraq issued a three-day national mourning period following the blaze.
