The flood situation in Assam is critical

 The recent flood situation in Assam is becoming critical. So far, about 2.2 million people and 1.5 million livestock have been affected. The floods have affected 29 districts. The death toll has risen to 52 so far. Animals are in deep food crisis. There is a lack of place to stay. 
 More than 3.86 lakh people have taken shelter in 515 relief camps and distribution centers set up by the administration in 24 flood-hit districts. The number of flood-affected villages has risen to 3208 There are many villages flooded due to the collapse of river embankments in various places.
 The field director ok Kaziranga National park said 31 wildlife animals died in the Kaziranga National Park and Tiger Reserve.
 According to the Kaziranga National Park authorities, 23 hog deer drowned while seven others died.
 The district of Goalpara, Nagaon, Nalbari, Kamrup, Morigaon, Dibrugarh, Sonitpur, Lakhimpur, South Shalmara, Dhubri, Jorhat, Charideo, Hojai, Karimganj, Sibsagar, Bangagaon, Barpeta, Dhemaji, Hailakandi, Golaghat, Darang, Bishwanath , Kachar, Kamrup (M ), Tinsukia, Karbi Anglong, Chirang, Karbi Anglong West, Majuli are effected by the flood.
