August 26, 2024 - New Delhi: On the occasion of the first anniversary of Chandrayaan-3’s historic landing on the Moon's South Pole, the Department of School Education & Literacy, under the Ministry of Education, launched an inspirational e-magazine titled ‘Sapno ki Udaan’. This digital publication aims to ignite the imagination and aspirations of students across India by showcasing the country’s achievements in space exploration.
The launch was part of a broader initiative to commemorate India’s significant milestone in space research, as Chandrayaan-3 marked India’s successful foray into uncharted lunar territory. Union Minister of Education, Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, inaugurated the e-magazine virtually, emphasizing the importance of fostering scientific curiosity and ambition among young learners.
‘Sapno ki Udaan’ features a collection of stories, articles, and interactive content designed to engage students with India’s space missions and technological advancements. The magazine includes interviews with leading scientists, detailed narratives on the Chandrayaan missions, and educational resources that align with the school curriculum.
In his address during the launch, Minister Pradhan highlighted the magazine's role in motivating students to dream big and pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).
